The purpose of ISE (Information System Engineering) program is to prepare professional IT (Information Technology) engineers and programmers. The program aims at making them acquire the essential knowledge and skills in computer engineering. They will be working in a well-prepared online environment, in which modern learning methods and tools are available for them. This environment will motivate them to learn how to analyze, synthesize and create innovative IT solutions. The students will get from this environment all what they need in terms of theoretical and practical knowledge required from an Information System Engineer. Here is a set of the most important learning outcomes of the program:

Understanding the IT theoretical basics.
Understanding the engineering basics and methodologies.
The Knowledge of information system design, implementation and testing.
The Knowledge of protecting information systems, data and networks.
The Knowledge of IT project management and quality assurance.

Registration

To be admitted into ISE program, the applicant must have scientific secondary certificate or any equivalent certificate determined by the Council of Scientific Affairs and University Council.
New students are accepted during the year according to the admission criteria determined by the university administration at the beginning of each semester, and they register for the courses, and pay the requested fees and charges before the beginning of each semester according to the financial regulations of the university which is set annually by the university council.
Student can choose new courses that (he/she) needs to study during the semester from among the available ones (which have open classes for teaching), as long as the student had passed in advance the courses that precede them according to the courses correlation rule, and must meet conditions related to the number of credit hours to be obtained before studying these courses (in case of such conditions), If the student fails in a course, (he/she) can register on another course followed by the correlation as long as the student registers at the same time on the course in which (he/she) failed in
Student must pay the fees of all the courses (he/she) wants to study, including courses he failed in.
Student must not register in one semester on courses that their total number of credit hours is less than nine hours or more than thirty credit hours, or the total number of credit hours for the courses that (he/she) studies for the first time in this semester is more than twenty-two credit hours

Studying duration

1- Studying duration in the Information Systems Engineering should not exceed 11 years. If this period is exceeded, the student is considered to be drained.

2- The conditions for success in the years in the Information Systems Engineering program depend on the following table:

Notes

20% of the tuition fees is deducted for members of the Teachers Union and their children. This discount does not include exam fees and costs.
50% of the tuition fees is deducted for military personnel, whether they are working with the army and the armed forces as volunteers, draftees or reserves.

The PT and AT fees for students in Saudi Arabia are paid at the University's Access Center in Riyadh and Mecca (cash in SAR)
The PT and AT fees for students in Dubai are paid at the University's Access Center in Dubai (cash in AED).
The PT and AT fees for students in (Jordan / Egypt / Lebanon / Turkey / Bahrain / Erbil / Sultanate of Oman/Sudan) are paid at the University's Access Centers in Amman / Cairo / Beirut / Istanbul / Manama/Erbil/Muscat/ Khartoum) cash in USD
The PT and AT fees for students in Kuwait are paid at the University's Access Centers in (Kuwait) cash in KD.
The PT and AT fees for students in Germany are paid at the University's Access Center in Germany (cash in Euro).
The PT and AT fees for students in Austria are paid at the University's Access Center in Austria (cash in Euro).
The PT and AT fees for students in Russia are paid at the University's Access Center in Moscow (cash in rubles).

After admission and final registration, students have to pay an additional amount for each course in return for the services of the center and the cost of examinations.

Success and graduation conditions

Success conditions

1- The student is considered passed in the course if he/she obtains a final result 50% or higher, as getting a 40% at least on the exam and a 40% at least on the assignment as well.

2- In case of failure in the course, the student must repeat it fully along with its assignments, projects, tests, and examinations, with full payments of their costs.

3- The student repeats the course that he/she failed at the first semester in which a class is available for it.

Graduation conditions

1- The student is considered passed in the Information Systems Engineering and obtains the engineering degree in systems Information when receiving 168 credit hours or more in at least nine semesters, in accordance with the following conditions:

Success in all general courses
The duration of the student's study in the Information System Engineering program should not exceed 11 years

2- The university grants the certificate of Information Systems Engineering with the name of the specialization chosen by the student in case that he/she met the requirements of that specialization, That is to say, the student has succeeded in all the specialized mass courses for this specialty, and at least three courses from the mass of the basic courses, and at least three courses from the mass of the supporting specialty courses, and at least one course from the mass of the other specialty courses.

3- In case of failing to meet the requirements of the specialization, the student is awarded the certificate of Information Systems Engineering without mentioning the specialization.
